'Magic at the Barn' summer show and the Red Brick Barn Theatre

'MAGIC AT THE BARN' is an original show set in the intimate atmosphere of 17th Century barn theatre featuring award-winning stage magic, grand illusion, ventriloquism, comedy and close-up magic featuring Oliver Tabor and special guests from around the country.
The show's cast has included local and national magicians, ventriloquists, comedians and jugglers appearing alongside Oliver. Each year he perfoms new and original illusions together with the variety of different guests, making each year's show different to the last and suitable for all the family.
'MAGIC AT THE BARN' 2011 cast were:
Oliver Tabor - Magic Circle award-winning stage magician presenting sophisticated sorcery.
Paul Henri - Combines magic, comedy, ventriloquism & general buffoonery!
Olly Day - East Anglia's most famous entertainer, performs with impeccable timing and irresistible humour. Has performed from Iceland to Las Vegas.
Kerry-Ann Steadman - An exceptional dancer with added assisting skills.
Remarkably baffling close-up magic was also presented by local magicians Mick Geraghty, Richard Graham and Mark Keeble prior to the show.
Doors open at 7pm, show starts at 7:30pm, finishes approx. 9:30pm.
Refreshments will be available to purchase during the interval.
THE RED BRICK BARN
Known as an Essex barn by design, it was originally used as a storage area for farm equipment and dates back to the 17th Century. Over the last 10 years it has been slowly transformed into an enchantingly atmospheric entertainment venue, acting as a mini theatre, complete with stage, full lighting and sound.
The Redbrick Barn is a 17th century grade II listed building, ideal as a blank canvas space which can be hired as a whole and is ideal for parties, dancing, award ceremonies, media events, presentations and wedding receptions.
